Kristine Teodori, D.O.

Award winning Geriatrician, Dr. Kristine Teodori, completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. James Olympia Fields. Inspired by the elderly's lifelong experiences shared during visits and intrigued by the challenge of managing their complex medical conditions, she pursued and completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. She returned to her hometown in Northwest Indiana to provide specialized care to the elderly.

Dr. Teodori has the unique honor of being awarded The Indiana Public Health Award for Contributions in Geriatric Medicine and being named NWI's Champion for Women's Health.

Elected by her peers, she has served as Medical Staff President of Franciscan Crown Point, and Chair of the Performance Improvement Committee.

Dr. Teodori is one of the few physicians in the area, Certified by the Society of Post-Acute Care and Long-term Care Medicine.

Dedicated to patient safety, she is a current board member of the Hoosier Alliance for Safe Healthcare, the Indiana Osteopathic Association, and The Lake County Medical Society. She meets with legislators to discuss and promote legislation that focuses on the quality of healthcare in our state.
